If I could go back in time to myself at 5, I would tell Me, I would be just fine. Someone has saved me from my scary dream. I had warm arms to hold me at night and not to be so angry with everyone in sight. If I could go back and tell myself at 5 that my actions would dictate the rest of my life. I wonder if I would understand?
If I could go back in time to myself at 10, I would tell me to speak up. Tell me they would understand. Talk to mom and dad about being hurt. That I'm being touched and that I know it wasnt love. That maybe it would change the out come later, and our sexual craze.
If I could go back in time to myself at 15, I would tell me its okay to say no. I would tell me drugs and sex are not the way to cope with all of the pain. That cutting does no good. That just because I am bipolar doesnt mean I am no good. That I deserve respect love and friend ship too. And that holding on to hope is the best thing I can do.
If I could go back in time to myself at 20, I would tell myself I am proud of me. I jam working and setting an example, I am breaking the cycle and that really matters. I am experiencing life to the fullest and learning all about me. I am loving it.
If I stay with me in the present, I would tell myself I will be okay. Everyone has a past they cant change and that the future awaits. My husband is amazing and he loves me so much. That I have come a long way and am learning to except real love. If I could tell myself at 24, that I will do amazing things and my dreams will soar. I can do anything I set my mind too...

Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

The hard lessons You have "lived through/survived" will bring hope and strength to someone else at the beginning of their journey. In my own quest for well being, I choose to live 'in the day'. What happened in my past has taught me valuable lessons to help others. I Am Not going to 'label' my pain, experiences, or life. I Am Me, plain and simple, doing my best each day to live positively and giving my best each day to bring positivity to all I encounter...jmo of why I'm here. Take care, ML
I'm so happy for you to be in such a good place now. I love hearing people here being so positive.
