I remember from a past post the you really really want ativan and have been trying to get it but your pdoc wouldn't prescribe. Did you ever have trouble with benzo's that would cause him to hold back so much?
Sure ativan can be addictive but if it's needed it's needed. I'm on Klonopin which is a benzo and of course it's addictive but it works and I'm staying on it. Right now there is no reason my doc wants me off of it because it is helping the problem it was originally prescribed for. I don't know. Different docs have different trains of thought about these things.
I totally understand the docs being cautious about giving you some meds because of past reactions. I don't understand why she would not want to give you the ativan though. If it works, why not let you have it.

Does that mean you aren't even open to an alternative that might help? With that type of comment, sorry but it's beginning to make me wonder.......
