Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

What I have learned is that as children, boys are more emotional than girls.
I think that society has done both men and women wrong in terms of emotion. Men are supposed to be *manly* and *stoic* and women are supposed to be (in this age) *go getters* and *career girls* and there is no room for ANYONE to breathe or to be themselves.
It is okay for a man to cry, to be upset, to be anything.
My dad has often said that his problem was the "real man complex" that society had dumped on him and that once he got rid of that, he was able to stop drinking. I'm proud of his sobriety and his willingness to be open.
Letting your emotions out is a good thing!!!... Great big hug for you.xo
let it out!
HUGS
emotions are good. maybe write it out and get something for it. forgive, put it behind you. free yourself from the chains of reliving it over and over. xo pasts can be difficult to shake off. an ongoing process.
((hugs))
I don't cry at all, even when I feel like crying the tears don't come.
I agree with the others here, crying is cathartic so let the tears
flow when you feel like it. And no, the world isn't ending. Big Hugs
Or is it just another bipolar sunrise?
