Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I've been treated for bipolar disorder for many years. In the past I was possibly bipolar but I went through some really bad stuff growing up. I honestly think I just did not have emotional intelligence back then to handle the issues I faced and I was alone. My parents were absent in my life. I had no guidance, nobody to look up to and just get good advice from. Now I am almost 50 and hormones have really changed in me. I am a different person. My wife wants to go her own way and get a divorce. I am seriously considering talking with my doctor about stopping treatment once she's gone and free myself from all the nasty stuff I've been putting into my body. My last doctor said the less you take for treatment the better off you are health wise. Plus I need energy and I have cirrhosis. I don't want to destroy what I have left that is good.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
Back in 84 I was dx'd with bp1 when my sister died...over the years I was taken off lithium and lamictal and now am on zoloft for depression.
I only have one kidney and am on a strict diet, look into Plant Based Diet and stay away from middle isles in grocery store. If you drink coke STOP that stuff take off rust!
Please keep posting, there is a good crowd here :)
You might want to check out the men's divorce board group. Or look up on line things you should do now to protect yourself and assets. Like removing her name off you credit cards...and your name from hers....that's a biggie cause you could get stuck with paying off balances on them. If you have a joint bank account, take out a "fair" amount of $$ and open your own account, continue to pay 1/2 food bill and house expenses...keep records and reciepts. Best of luck
