I don't normally post when I have a problem or problems, but I need some suggestions. Of course I probably already know what most will suggest but maybe there will be a new idea out there.
The last couple of weeks when I get really really stressed out and feel out of control with my life and the happenings in it, I get this strange end of the world feeling.
This isn't an emotional feeling or at least I don't think it is, I can feel it physically. I have a sullen feeling in my stomach, almost like butterflies. I feel this pressure on my neck and shoulders area like I have two 50lbs bags sitting on my shoulders. It generally doesn't last very long, maybe a few hours at the most.
Emotionally I am cranky and extremely irritable. I am a big time crier and generally i don't get too weepy eyed, I am get angry and will scream and yell and not pleasant to be around.
What would this be? Is it some stressed induced panic-like attack. I have never had a full blown panic attack, so who knows.
Any suggestions on also how to deal with it once it happens.
Today it started about 12:30 and hasn't left yet. The last time it happen this feeling only lasted about 2 hours. I just can't shake these feelings.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I hope you feel better sossie!
Do your self a favor what ever it is, get out of it now, before it is too late. Your health and well being is too important to ignore. As some one who has been in an "end of the world" kind of trouble, get out before it is too late. Don't wait till you lose every thing and end up sick, mentally ill, beat down, broken, and all around messed up like I did, get out now!
And if that is not the case than you need to contact your pdoc and tdoc and demand attention to this matter immediately. Stress can damage your physical health as well as mental health. Don't wait till you are sick and in a hospital to get help. If you are having that kind of physical reaction you need attention to this now. It will effect every area of your life, and you will slowly deteriorate until you can no longer function in life if this isn't taken care of.
good luck I hope this helps and you get the help you need. You are much loved around here sossie.
but I have been going to my pdoc and keep getting meds adjusted. Today she added Vistaril to try and help with it. Feels like a major anxiety attack for me, lasts about 3 or 4 hours.
So, of course, I say.....check with your doctor :)
Ill let ya know if this new one helps for me or not, as benzos just dont cut it for me.
Hope it passes soon sweetie..x
Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I kinda already knew that is what it was but needed some validation for it I guess.
