Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Of course I will adopt you - on humanitarian grounds, of course!
Not the President bit. God that sounds so terrible.
The part I find a bit puzzling, is why does it sometime become a rather touchy subject?
Why does anyone care if someone else holds differing opinions?
To me, it's interesting to hear all the different beliefs, but I don't feel personally impacted by any of them.
Why care what someone else chooses to believe?
(Obviously everybody who thinks differently than me is wrong, but I see no need to point it out!)
But I said " Who Knows ? " and it looked like I was saying it about Presidency so it looked twattish and I was simply putting that right..and at the same time losing the will to live...
But Bo Fowler's book " Scepticism Inc " is an excellent book. It is very Vonnegut inspired and a bit easier to grasp but it's very funny.
About a man that opens a betting shop. You bet on God or anything else. You bet on your philosophy. Then other people feel the need to place bets on their belief too and it's very absurd.
But he falls in love with a total God woman.
My belief? It is by faith. I've studied and listened and read tons. I always seem to come back to a simple truth.
We can't as humans wrap our heads around all of it. If I knew everything God knew then I would "be" God. I don't "even" WANT that kind of responsibility (unless grandiose manic, ha, j/k). I can't fully explain it in human terms or in my head. It isn't logical. I am finite. God is infinite and perfect. I'm forever flawed. He's mysterious and wonderful.
Works for me. :)
It becomes sensitive/touchy to me when someone blatantly disrespects my beliefs. I expect the same courtesy that I afford others.
