How many of you have a dual diagnosis?

I am a schizoaffective. I have bipolar 1 with mixed schizpophrenic episodes.....ie the world knows what I am thinking at all times. I had this fear back when I was on assistance that the assistance office knew what I was doing and they were watching me every second with their minds when in fact they weren't. They were just closing me down because it was my time to be routed from the system. I am now since married and on good insurance. I don't need the assistance office anymore. M/y husband makes decent money enough for the two of us. He makes like 40 k a year. But on that note, how many of you are dual dx?

I understood it as meaning addiction/alcoholism and a mental illness.

bipolar, mild schizophrinic, mild ocd, substance abuse. pretty much you name it im dx it. sadly.

Many people do use the term "dual diagnosis" to mean BP and addiction. I noticed Jane Pauley called it something else (can't remember what) in the PBS special today.

I don't have addiction issues (but have abused D & A in the past before I was dx'd), but have more than one DX...PTSD, ADD, BP II, CRT (Can't Remember Shit) and who the hell knows what else?

i have bipolar 1 and adhd i have pretty much conquered my adhd though and i have excema, and a slight anxiety disorder

You know if we looked at this as a medical issue instead of "mental," as they stressed on the PBS dealie, almost everyone would have multiple dx's.

What? They are ALL Defiantly recognized diagnosis. Har har har.

But Who doesn't have number 3? I think most of us do!

I only caught a few mins of that PBS special. If they run it again, could someone post?
BP1, BPD, GAD (panic attacks and agoraphobia). Think there was another personality disorder but totally forget.

My pdoc tells me that having BD means that you also experience all the other diagnosis from time to time.

I have a few diagnosis and they equally suck the big one.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
