Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am new to this site. Don’t know exactly what I’m doing. What I do know is that I woke up very depressed and scared about being very depressed. I am a veteran of depressions and mania (depression mostly) and all things bipolar. I’ve had this for 50 years. Still every time I have a window—this time a year—of freedom from depression I think WOW this is it. I’m home free. Which is ridiculous because I have never been home free. I wrote in my journal just now. I’ve been here “before and before and before.”
My bipolar is very med resistant. I’ve been on many meds. I exercise. Am mindful. Bow to Buddha. Bow to anybody. Keep going.
I am not suicidial. But I feel very old with this. My sad lamp did not cheer me up. My cat failed to comfort me. Which is not a good sign.
Does this relate to anybody? Can you write me? Anything?

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I relate in full, living color, all the way to the med resistant symptoms. One of the things which does help me is reaching out to my therapy support network, kinda like what you just did with this very post.
Did it help any?
Gentlest of support while you find what works for you. There are answers to be found, mastered and/or tailored to fit.
I'm sorry that you're struggling right now.... I am to actually.... When I'm in a depression it always feels to me like it goes on forever and I'll never find stability again
