Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with bipolar in high school, later it got changed to schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. I've also been diagnosed with obsessive compuslive disorder. I joined this group because I found that during my many hospitalizations talking with and having the support of others that are going through similar problems really helped. And now, things that seemed to go away for while, are all coming back and I need help again. I can feel this overwhelming evil darkness growing in me and getting stronger again and I'm scared. I know I need to fight, and not let get things get as bad as they did before, or I won't make it. This is the strongest my thoughts of suicide have been in a long time ( I don't have any plans as of now, that's when I get into trouble). All of the mental health professionals I've seen, and being heavily medicated, has saved my life. But like I said being with others that have been there, or are there now, really helps. I've grown to hate therapy, because I've done so much of it, but I ageed too it and decided to join a support group, in hopes of getting even more help. Hopefully, I may be able to help you all out a bit in return and offer my support. Take care!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Please hang on to a thought doesn't require an action.... I try to look at it as simply a symptom of a disorder and if it doesn't pass within a couple of weeks I know I need to see my pdoc
I hope that you will feel better soon.... big hug.... xo
