I think it's so very sad how many lives have been lost... At the very least I think there should be really strict regulations anywhere that people are allowed to have guns...They aren't used for much other then killing

So glad I live in the UK where gun crime is relatively low.I was in the Army for many years so I know about gun crime & what destruction guns do. I was young, immature & brain washed when I carried a gun in the Army. Now that I'm older & wiser I know guns are never a good thing.

It's not even about a gun debate. It's about doing the job you were elected to do. Which ever side of this you come up on, there is a right way and a wrong way to do things.

There are several things "I" want very badly. I think I will go to Capitol Hill and FLING myself on the floor, kicking and screaming like a damn two year old. I wonder how long it would take them to lock me up on the third floor of the hospital?

Why are the psychiatric wards of hospital always on the 3rd floor???

The last one I was in was known as "The Flight Deck" because a patient found access to the roof and jumped off.

I forgot to mention one thing. The reason I posted this was not a political issue. It was because having a Sit In was something that we haven't heard about for 40 years! I thought it was a return to the 60's
and just too cute. It was the action not the cause.

Private psychiatric hospitals are the way to go. If your insurance will pay for go for it! It's the difference between going to the Jersey Shore or Hawaii.

I spent 3 wonderful months in a private hospital It's like a vacation with tons of interesting group therapies. And day trips into the city. We had Halloween Parties, Christmas Parties, New Years Eve celebrations, hockey games at Madison Square Garden and a trip to Little Italy where we ate scrumptous pastries. To get money to spend on our day trips, we had International Night where the patients cooked something from a foreign country. Then we charged the patients in other bldgs. to buy our dinners. (only $2-3). It was a blast and I cried the entire weekend when I left.
What does this have to do with Sit Ins? Don't know.
