My closest psych ward is in the subbasement next to the morgue. You have to go past all the administrative offices, custodial storage, mechanical, and the kitchen to get there. Gotta keep us a safe distance from the "normal" patients...

There are other's but WMH is only a mile from my house... You never notice it going in... but when you get released and go to the day program it is creepy.... There are windows on the ward.... it's on a hill. They all have drawbacks... Columbia St Mary's is on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan but the food is so nasty..... Aurora has a nice campus but it's a really old building so your room will either be 80 degrees or 45 and they can never seem to fix it.... I have one more to try, Rodgers Memorial. :) I hear they are great. WMH has awesome food and the best doctors though... I guess it's a matter of choice.

I respectfully disagree - the founding Father's were fully aware of the evolution of all things and it is an important Admendment . The Constitution was well thought out and argued/debated over. It has remained to withstand the test of time.


As far as the "too many rounds" etc ... You can never have too many rounds if and when you are defending your family or Country. Just sayin'

Btw the whole "assault rifle" thing is an anti gun propaganda tool. The weapons they are labeling as such aren't assault rifles and I'm sorry but disarming the masses does nothing to stop these animals from obtaining these guns / rifles.

The California and Florida shootings were terrorists acts. Need to look also at the horrific illegal gun trade that nobody seems to care about with the poor people being killed daily in Chicago. That is a travesty.

Yes private hospitals can also be horrendous but the one we are talking about in CT was so posh according to my friend.

She basically went there for a break and they did tell her she want BP and all kidding aside is definitely reckless.

Mental health and guns. I went to try and buy a gun 3 months after I got disability. I was cleared for purchasing a hand gun. I can easily buy a gun online. I tried that to. All the way up to giving them my credit card. I passed the three day hold for a frickin handgun. I am government certified schizoeffective bipolar. Issues with the system? Yea a few.
