Morning all from the fucking crazy house - I figured LJ would be out of heat by now or soon but oh no its like we are starting from the beginning and I am gonna go nucking futs before we are done. We are back to dogs in the yard - hadnt seen one in days, she is back to being impossible and miserable and taking it out on me and the house

But I love her so will just keep on doing what I do and hope like hell her cycle hurries up

I am thinking where DO all the socks go that there are always one or more missing when I take everything out of the dryer?

Where is the "black hole"?

is it in the washing machine, or the drier?

Perhaps they simply dissolve and get trapped in the lint screen.

Or maybe they are teleported to someone else's laundry basket, so that both of us get an unmatched sock.

If the teleportation theory is correct, then there must always be an even number of washers and dryers in the universe. The only way that this can always be true is if there is a parallel universe, so that whenever someone in this universe purchases a new one or has one beyond repair, their twin in the other universe does the same.

Is there someone who can prove or disprove any of these theories?

the sock mystery i often wonder about it myself..but have you ever notice when you finally get rid of the misfit.... the missing one is reincarnated??? whats up w that????? so much better w summer and sandals, no sock mystery, i wear my flip flops until it snows!!!

I know what happens to those friggin' socks!!!!

They attach themselves by virtue of 'static cling' to the back of a top, where they stay until they are pointed out to me by someone as I'm wearing the top out in public!!!!!

There's no telling where the socks go to at my house. I guess the dryer eats them.

Maybe socks have a high divorce rate.

I hate when Socks, divorce. Why don't they think about the children?
