Am watching movie I havent seen since I was 11 - had truly forgotten what a beautiful movie it is and how much even at 11 years old it touched my life. Have cried a few times :)

Now you've got me curious as to the name of the movie.

Sunshine - Which was the story of the last few years of the life of Jacquelyn Helton. She died in 1971 at the age of 20 from bone cancer. She left behind a 2 year old daughter that she left tapes (lots them) for to tell her about her mom after she passed. The music is wonderful (all John Denver ) the movie is great and tho some might have seen her as a martyr (my mother for one) she gave her kid something beautiful

I LOVED that movie and have thought about it in recent years since my own Mom died of cancer. Is it on DVD now or do you know?

I am watching it on youtube just stumbled on it last night. Have never found it on dvd or even on netflix

I will see if I can also find it on youtube thank you. Brings back memories of watching the movie with my own Mom. Good memories not bad ones.

Its like deja vu in some ways. I realize now how much this movie shaped my ideas on death and dying (in a good way )

It is a gorgeous day here......lots of sunshine but suppose to get really hot AGAIN!!!! It has been a crazy hot and dry summer, ugh!!!!!

Oh yeah cryed at the beginng, few spots in the middle and again at the ending but what a hell of a movie - glad I found it as I hear (from reading reviews that its not on DVD which is a shame)

Morning All...I am whiney today because I am tired and my back hurts..not to mention by butt. BUt I think I may have fixed the problem that was causing those parts of my body to hurt..so we shall see.

I have a HUGE cup of coffee in front of me and a real Dr. Pepper in the fridge for mid morning..hopefully this will wake me up.

I watched the movie thank you so much. It really brought back some good memories of my Mom and I watching TV together. Most memorable was Sunshine and Gone With the Wind.

Started on my laundry while pausing the movie too so I feel today will be productive in addition to be nostalgic.

Wonders how Soss fixed her butt issues lol (wonders more so if I really want to know)
