I ran to the eye doctor and got my script for my right contact. Last week they gave me a weaker one because they didn't have one for me. I couldn't believe what a difference it made.

Oh so proud of you for the contacts issue now if I could just get you to _____ I would be over the top thrilled

Soss, glad to hear that, You only wear one contact? Or do you, like me, have a different script for each eye?

When I was at the eye doctor last week I asked her what my vision was. She said that the worst is 20/400 and I am way past 400 and I was on a different finger counting scale. In other words I am blind as a bat. LOL

One eye is worse than the other, so I have two different scripts for my eyes.

the last time I asked what my eyesight is I was told 20/500 so I, too, am blind as a bat LOL, I got contact lenses since the time I saw you guys and now I have to wear reading glasses to read too

I wear reading glasses to read and contacts for seeing far away. t was either that or progressive lenses as I, alos, refuse to get bifocals/ trifocals and since progressive lenses are available I don't see where anyone would LOL, unless they're just less expensive =)

LOL taking step back in time and running off dial up until wifi issues get fixed

W- as long as you're here it doesn't matter how you get here, have you heard I'm coming to visit you in August? I will have to remember a camera this time to take lots of pics of us all together.

Evelyn- I can't really afford the progresive lenses but I can afford the contacts and some cheapo reading glasses from Wal Mart LOL, I have three pairs of reading glasses, two at the house and one for work (that pair stays at work so I don't lose them LOL @ self)

My mom buys all her reading classes at Wal-Mart..she has them to match her outfits.

that's cool, last time I bought any I bought a three pack for the house cause I kept misplacing them. I had a pair in my purse, a pair at my computer and a pair in the bedroom. It was only $9. So I figured, what the heck.

I've worn glasses for distance since I was 7 yrs. old. BP meds actually changed my vision after all this time....it's been corroborated by my opthomologist, but he's clueless as to why. Just got a new driver's license in a new state and took the test w/o glasses and passed.
Now I feel naked driving...had to wear glasses while driving for 42 yrs. LOL!
