This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
i've had people tell me i'm 'powerful' before, quite a few actually... that didn't help me in those states.
for me, it is mostly my thoughts/other people's thoughts.
for instance, i think i can create/change/destroy/move/alter things with them..
but any annoying ass new-ager is going to preach that shit like it's the gold standard of spiritual knowledge, and they are THE FIRST to KNOW! "oh my GOD, i read the Secret... i'm a f*ckin' GEENYUS"
yeah, ok ok , we influence crap with our thoughts... go read " As a Man Thinketh " published 1902... and tell me it's new.
so i don't know, because there's energy, too.. and you actually can make a "ball" of energy between your hands... i've done it in " dance chuch" where they used elements of chi qigong or thai chi or some eastern art...
we do influence things with our thoughts..
there supposedly have been yogis who can live on nothing but light and coffee or some crap, or bi-locating monks.. i think there is supposed documentation of Theresa of Avila levitating so to speak..
i actually think it could be possible..
when we're manic we're more aware of energy, etc. but it gets blown up out of proportion to a degree that is dangerous.. my secret theory, is it has something to do with kundalini and that mania is when the masculine side is over-activated, like when yogis raise the snake and don't get the feminine going equally (yin, cold, dark etc.) and they fry up, until they figure it out.. this is documented, though i wish i could be more academic in my references, i think the two are related- mania and masculine/yang (heat, energy, light etc.)
my theory. i believe they're somehow related.
I've also thought I could suck energy out of other people.
Never tried flying though, even in my dreams I don't fly very well, always crashing into things.
it's a big part of my schizoaffective diagnosis
