Hey Guys, Was wondering if anyone sedates themselves....say when you've been prescribed a med and have to wait to start it for one reason or another. In my case it's insurance. Anyway, I'm having meltdowns, my docs know this, so I sedate myself with my klonopin and muscle relaxants, carefully but I do it. I was wondering how many of you guys do the same??

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

Guess it's like I do 'sedate self' as am enveloped in the wave of wastitude that accompanies particularly evening meds.
S'ok. Accept it' gotta be this way. That said, really am on stacks of meds & yet am hesitant to ask doc to try stopping some. Can't/won't go back into past mood states!
It gets so unbearable with intense paranoia & nerves that its either that or a gun to the head. I feel like jumping out of my own skin on really bad days.
If its not herbs, minerals & vitamins then its over the counter sleeping tabs & try to sleep it off for the day. By evening its usually tolerable.
Today is a very bad one, I'm going to try & o.d. on valerian root, it works sometimes & is soothing to the nerves, I can usually count on 4-6 hrs of relief with it. I dont feel like being unconscious today, its too nice out & spring seems like its here.
i mix seroquel & trazadones and i sleep for days
