Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I had a wonderful time with family today.
In fact I felt so relaxed coming from that kind of stress you can get from being alone a lot.
I came home and kind of had to deal with transitioning back to being alone.
Ok - I even wrote a journal about it.
Then as the time started to pass and I had to deal with some stressors here at the house
my mind started to pick at me - like suggesting paranoid things about my relationships.
It started to make me fearful and angry - and if I didn't watch it - it could really have 'colored my eyes' so to speak.
I think I am realizing that this is 'just a paranoid episode' - deep breath - and just hope and expect it to pass eventually.
I'll watch tv - and just kiss this mood good bye in time. TG!!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Bring on the Justers and just-it-all. I haven't found a justy solution for it, either.
Gentle empathy. It's a bitch and a bastard, too.
The two best teachers I know are Bonnie Weiss LCSW and Jay Earley Ph.D. Here is a link to their website. I follow their advice now. My initial approach was a bit scattered because I came across the information from other, less clear sources. I know Jan was interested. The ebook or pdf is $9.95.
