I'm taking a class this semester online called Drugs and Society.

Did you know that Benzos are one of the most commonly abused
drugs in today's society.

At least that's what it says in our text.

So I am wondering.....How many drug abusers do we have in this
forum? How many of you abuse your script meds?

I don't abuse mine because I heard that if you abuse them they don't work anymore.

I learned that from someone on here that was kind enough to share.

I do skip taking them when I can so I can double up if needed. If that is abuse I guess I'm guilty.

Instead of abusing them I usually turn to something else like wine or pot if I'm really stressed.

Is that honest enough for you Ribbet?

I'm just laying it out there. I gave up caring a long time ago.

I would not say I am an abuser, but yes I have taken 1 to many xanax before and loritab....

I have a history of drug use... not abuse. still on the same xanax i was prescribed and i take it when i need it... i like to have more than i was prescribed. i wouldnt call it hoarding, more like a fear one day i will need it and cant afford it, cant get script, cant get to doc. you know.

That is interesting that script med abuse is a trend Jay Bear. I guess that's why it says that Benzos are one of the most commonly abused drugs. I am learning a LOT of interesting stuff in this online course that I have to teach myself.Especially that I am a social drug user. A social drug user uses drugs to self medicate, recreation, or to sure an illness...and many other reasons for social drug use I just don't remember them all. But those are a few factors just to name a few.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
