I'm taking a class this semester online called Drugs and Society.

Did you know that Benzos are one of the most commonly abused
drugs in today's society.

At least that's what it says in our text.

So I am wondering.....How many drug abusers do we have in this
forum? How many of you abuse your script meds?

not me...honestly l have to be that strict and follow the prescription but l can see my Dr for free whenever for more free meds so l'm lucky

Sometimes I take 2 instead of one (or, 6 instead of 1) when I need a PRN...I guess that probably counts!

I've been taking Klonopin for 18 yrs. now but have never abused them ....HONESTLY! In fact, I don't take them most of the time, can go for weeks without, so not addicted. But when things get bad, I do take more than prescribed. Get the refills when they are due not when I run out....guess I hoard them too.

I have a LOT of xanax. I don't know why I do it, I don't take them, I just hoard them.

Wow that's interesting. I have no history of drug abuse however my pdoc is afraid I will abuse drugs so I am not allowed any benzo's. I think it's a crock though. I was just curious. I guess script abuse isn't as common as people think or some people are hiding the truth whichever comes first.

I have Klonopin as needed but but sometimes I do take it even if I could get through without just because I want an anxiety free day. I'm not sure if that's abuse or not.

I once crushed my klonopin up and snorted it...mostly out of sheer boredom. I dunno, I think if you truly need physch meds, let's face it they are a pain in head to get, abusing them is not really a luxury for most of us.
I have known lot's o' disenfranchised gutter punk types who knew someone who needed them and stole them...I think it filters in that way. Also, lot's of survivor types on a fixed income will get them so they can trade for actual cash.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
