I only have 1 official dx: BP1 w/ psychosis. My pdoc considers the anxiety and ADD symptoms to be part of BP.

I have bp on the rocks. Shaken, not stirred and with an olive and lemon twist.

Don't forget, comorbidities can be physical ailments too.

I have only officially DX as BP 2. But me being me...I have DX myself with PTSD and GAD..I have valid reasons for those DXs, I just didn't make them up..LOL

yeah, I've only been dx'd with bipolar (usually BP1, haha); the other "issues" are usually not known to the pdocs. I had severe anxiety issues for several years, still have klonopin around when needed.

I had a Lot of OCD as a child, but outgrew much of it (I can now pass a driveway or paved intersection without throwing my hand up to keep from scarring, for example).

I am delusional, and believe the world can be changed at will. And the typical trauma/stress - no elevators, overhead airplanes worry me, etc.

But all my docs put these under the bipolar umbrella.

here's the catcher - complex ptsd is not yet recognized in the DSM - but will hopefully be included in the forthcoming edition. Judith Herman coined the term and it's very specific and separate from regular PTSD.

Well if they really are saying anxiety (GAD) is part of bp, then I don't have any comorbidity issues.
But pretty sure they are separate animals.

What is the criteria for complex PTSD? Is it multiple traumatic experiences vs. just one major incident?

BPII, SAD, Panic Disorder, and agoraphobia. I think I fit the criteria of BPD also, but have not been diagnosed with it,
