Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I also have chunks of my life missing and the ones I don't remember I can only hope they are not as bad as what I do remember.
oh comorbidities:
a dash of BPD traits and PTSD too. Not quite fully meeting criteria but enough to have the pdoc talk about it all the time. The complex PTSD diagnosis is an interesting
narcolepsy
ADD
auto-immune fun: lupus/undifferentiated connective tissue disorder/sjogrens and toss in some fibromyalgia
thyroid cancer (in remission)
Strangely, although I have been brutally abused, physically by husbands, and sexually, I have no PTSD. I also remember everything back to when I was 2 /2. Well, not everything, but lots of clear memories. My sister, with major depression remembers almost nothing from her childhood.
And I have a brother with dependent personality, overlapping with narcissistic and a touch of borderline. He takes Seroquel, and doesn't need it. LOL My parents enable him, as he still lives at home in their basement at the age of 53.
Stage Three Endometriosis, for which I had surgery and am now on a regimen of Depot Lupron that puts me into early menopause.

Disassociate terrible given certain circumstances - pdoc says that due to the past abuse and the timing/circumstances of when I disassociate the PTSD is to blame.
