good to see you too jan and with food! just what i needed? what is peameal bacon? anything with bacon has to be good so i'll dig in. i've been subsisting on toast! every day i say, tomorrow i'll do something and then i get stuck in the same groove again and again. something has to give soon. i have to get off this particular merry-go-round. My son has been staying with me for the past few weeks with his little dog, Mo. she's a lovely little fox terrier who is very obedient and loves to sleep at the bottom of my bed and at least gets me out of the house sometimes when I take her for a walk which she loves. my son, gearoid is a chef too so he cooks some lovely meals which saves me from turning into a slice of toast! it has been a big help.

AAAaaaaahhhh...... I've needed this for a very long time. Let's see.... I think I'll take the cushy soft couch over there by the fireside, a pumpkin latte with extra whipped cream and a nice soft blankie. I may be asleep for a while after the latte! I forgot about the decor. Let's see... how about a pool table with a large Tiffany lamp above it?

Hi, Irish!!! I haven't been around for a while, either. I love being in the bp lounge. No phones, no cats wanting to sleep on my arm, and I can play pool if i want to. Not that I'm very good at it, but I still like to play, and I can still enjoy playing the game without that nasty copy-cat critical voice of my mother pointing out EVERY SINGLE mistake I make! AAaaarrgghhhhh....!! My winter also sounds like a copy-cat of yours, Irish. ugh. I'm just glad the meter has counted another year and I can get a fresh start. A lot has gone on since October and I am so glad that trend seems to be over, at least for now. So good to see you Irish. CHEERS!!!!!

hi all, thanks for the welcome, I made it out yesterday to go to the store, pharmacy and couple of other places and today went to help in a friend's house for a wake and will go again tomorrow for the funeral. he was her brother-in-law and a lovely man. I got through this evening,managed to stay a few hours so here's hoping for the same success tomorrow. my mini-cakes went down a treat!
