It is chilly here and we're in for a big snowstorm starting tomorrow.... Bah humbug I want to see the Spring having been sprung!!

It was a lovely bright spring day here too, it is so nice to see flowers everywhere again.
Just watched two movies with wolfgang, both scifi and both very silly. bad choices, better luck next time. I have just gone to bed - enjoy the rest of sunday all those in different time zones!

I hope Monday is giving a good start to the week. i have been busy cleaning my house. I brought a big pot of Irish stew for anyone who drops in with freshly baked bread rolls.

Good morning - wednesday already, megan arrives tomorrow night with five of her college friends to stay two nights so busy getting the house ready, I brought the good old irish breakfast as a mid-week treat with bacon, eggs sausage, boxty, mushrooms, tomatoes with just baked brown bread,

Hi Jan, coffee cake sounds delicous with fresh coffee! thanks.
boxty is grated raw potato seasoned with a little salt & pepper and flour added, then pressed into a kind of pancake type shape - it can be fried with butter and any left can be toasted later. lovely as a snack with an egg &/or bacon. It is a west of ireland dish.

Sunday morning and I feel in need of some sun so I am going out the patio doors here in the lounge to the beach where the sun always shines and have a lovely morning swim followed by some fresh fruit smoothies and warm bread rolls with tea or coffee. then I am settling down on a lounger with a good book with some soft music in the back-ground. good to get away from the rain and grey skies here!

in bed with very sore throat trying to take things easy after the crowd at the weekend. looking out at the rain and glad i don't have to go outside. Mo (dog) is snoozing beside me keeping me warm.
