are we having a party on monday night for halloween? if so we better get decorating this lounge with ghosts and goblins and witches and things full of candycorn! (I love candycorn, my sister sent me some with the mini furniture and i ate the whole bag - sugar be damned!)

Decorating for Halloween it is Irish! I'll string the Halloween lanterns around the lounge! Just baked a loaf of gingerbread and made a big pot of earl grey and a big pot of coffee.....I hope it gets us over the usual hump!

gingerbread and a big pot of coffee - you got me - lets get decorating. i made some of those old fashioned twirls of orange and black crepe paper to string around the place too. i also found some fabulous scary witches, some on broomsticks................not just the resident witches (ourselves! lol). time to mix up the potions and lotions and sparkle and spin, maybe even some chandelier swinging again. it has been a while.

Well it's a cold and dark morning here and I'm wanting a big pot of tea and I brought in some warm apple cake right out of the oven there is some better to put on slices and a big pot of coffee as well....

glad to be here to enjoy the fire, the company and the apple cake! yum...the place is shaping up really well with the decorations, i found some orange and black balloons too. we can have fun popping them on monday night. i get a fright every time even when i know it is coming! I brought some raspberry and chia seed cupcakes to share too so enjoy with the coffee.
