i figured omelettes this morning would be a good choice with several toppings to choose from - mushrooms, bacon bits, peppered sausage, tomato, peppers, cheese, ice-berg lettuce, (delicious!) sweet-corn, with freshly baked walnut bread to go with them. all served warmed. the warmer will be going all day for late comers.

my trip went really well, am very glad i went!

i drove back yesterday after about two hours sleep and brought tj's friend Joe (with whom I stayed in tipperary) back with me and had to go out to dinner with the two of them last night when we got back. that was an ordeal given that tj has 'terminated' our relationship! (the idiot!) but I got through it and I had collected some things for him from one of my ex siblings while i was in tipperary which also went ok. so all in all i did very well. good old trusty xanax and taking my meds on time!
My nephew came to visit on thursday night and the three of us stayed up until after 5am drinking wine and talking and had a really good time. I hadn't seen him for about two years. he is 27. his father completed suicide in 2003 so it always gladdens my heart when i see him.
the lady i went to visit and hadn't seen since i was about seventeen was very pleased with my visit and i spent over an hour with her and am so happy i did it. it was wonderful catching up with her and hopefully i will get to see her again later in the year. she is in her late 80's now so time is precious! She was stunned and delighted that i made the 8hr round trip to visit her. I had been meaning to do it for the last four years since her husband died. He son is a very good friend of mine since our teenage years and her other son was one of my first loves (he's still drop dead gorgeous!!). I have over the years had very close links with her three daughters too coincidentally with one of them being my district nurse when i lived in meath. life has strange twists and turns.

i am glad to be back home and wolfgang is due to arrive this evening for a couple of nights so i am looking forward to that.

i will shut up now!!

I'm going to dig into a mushroom omelette this morning. Head a wonderful date night last night movie and dinner and another movie!

Glad your trip went so well irish. It sure is nice to catch up with people you haven't seen in a long time. I am planning a trip back home to MA this March, just got to work out the details. I'm up for an omelette. I never had iceberg lettuce in an omelette but I have a good imagination and in my imagination it tastes wonderful, maybe with some bacon and goat cheese. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Gee, I didn't realize that was tonight. I wake up way too early for work to be out howling at midnight(I know, party popper), but if you could video yourself howling tonight I would love to see it. I would also love to see the scared look on your neighbors faces when they see that.

Drats...I wish I had read this before I went out last night.
Then I could have video myself howling at the moon in St. Joseph MI.

It's going to be a GRAND day today. I just know it. It's Tuesday (which is nice b/c it means Monday is over) and it's almost Wednesday (which means half the week is almost gone). That sounds a bit morose -- think I'll change my tune.

Snacks in the AM?? Sure! How about some breakfast?? I'm making flying pancakes and muffins. Pure maple syrup from my sister's land. Delicious!

Yes am glad it is tuesday too for all the same reasons - it is a nice day here after a very stormy night.

I am off to the dentist again. the filling she put in last week fell out yesterday evening!! not too happy about that so i hope she can fix it.
