What are some of your good ol' favorites, pagan, for a nice party!

Thats a good question spacekat and to be honest its always changing. Some things I never get sick of at a party is a vegetable platter with a good dip like hummus, also I love shrimp cocktail, can't go wrong with a good cheese board with a nice selection of hard cheeses, blue cheeses, brie cheese and maybe a goat cheese but I love most cheese so whatever is fine. To go with the cheese a nice selection of breads and fruit as well as wine. I also like things like finger sandwiches made with roast beef and horseradish cream. I could go on but these are just a few of my favorites.

Geez Pagan, can I hire you to make dinner? Holy cow...Roast Beast w/horseradish! Cheeses!!! Goat cheese is so yummy, as well as Brie and Camembert!! Anybody into Gorgonzola? Or a big chunk of Parmesean cheese from Italy?

I love cheese. From all those you mentioned dobie and more.. I love cheese (did I say that already! :)? A local news program said that cheese can be addictive which seems nuts.

I'll bring some Manchego and some Jarlsberg and Emmenthaler, maybe some Double Cream as well!

Those sound like excellent cheeses Mark. Some strong flavors there but still really good.

thanks Pagan! In real life I have been interested in trying a lot of cheeses - problem is they cost an arm and a leg. Some are too strong for me - but I like most of the ones I have tried.

Thank you so much for the nuts and scotch and soda, both go good with high quality cheeses I think. Yup, I think we can decorate a bithang some lights put up a wreath or two, maybe some garland on the stair case banister.
