Pagan....when I was a kid I used to dream of having a farm and meeting wild wolves (that's redundant)..coming over and I would leave food out for them and we would become friends.
I still think it would be a great idea, it's just never going to happen. Alas...
I use those "dreams" when I can't sleep. As long as their is an animal involved I know I will fall asleep.
I don't even know if there are wolves in Michigan! I would like to see some more. Maybe I'll check the internet, see what I can find!
We have two wolves in California recently returned from Oregon....
I'm hoping for a wolf family by time the snow flies!
Sorry, CA stereotypes!!
Wolfspeak - I bet they're not as scary as they say. Wolves are pretty intelligent. I wouldn't make any fast moves, but I think crouching down a bit and speaking gently to them might work. I did that to a coyote once that was roaming the IBM property where I worked. He seemed very interested in me and the car. Maybe it was a bad idea but I got a big kick out of it. Speaking gently to animals seems to calm them down.
How's it going MayB???
Dobie you'll have to go to germany, apparently wolves are coming back over there.
and jreae and i were just talking nonsense earlier. lol. so we all got lost together!
