I think it is so rude when you are in a deep conversation or intimate conversation and someone decides to answer their phone and choose that person over you. I also think it is scary that a person driving fumbles around trying to answer their ringing phone at any cost. I also find it annoying that people let their cell phones and regular phones run their life...they treat it like if they don't answer the phone life will be over. I rarely answer my phone. I figure if it is important they will leave a message and I can call them back when I'm in the right space to do so.

I was peeing at walmart the other day and a girl a stall was talking to someone who I put together was seeing the same man she was and they were comparing dates and how much money he had spent on her and that she had been pregnant and lost it on such and such a date then she was like...oh shit that's him I gotta go.I am like ....eeewww all this while on the potty?We are all standing around waiting to pee listening to all this drama.WEIRDO.

I see moms pushing baby strollers or having them in their snugglies (carriers in front) and they are talking on the phone!!! I spent time with my kid and talked to him. I am always so surprised where people choose to talk on the phone :)

What's the worst is those people that have a bluetooth in their ear and walk around talking to themselves.

I have a bluetooth but I always excuse myself before I use it and make sure to end my call before making contact with a real person. But I drive alot and I never have to touch it or my phone when driving, both hands on the wheel.

when I drive by someone talking on their phone I honk my phone long and loud to interfere with their conversation.

I guess I'm thinking of my job where I help people and I HATE when customers talk on their phone while I am asking, "how may I help you?" They are talking into the air and I think they are talking to me for a second. One guy came up to me and said "I love you!" and I thought he was talking to me and he was talking to his wife. I'll wait until they finish and they seem surprised that I do that. I mean I'm important too!! It is safer to use the bluetooth when you are driving.

the other day I heard a guy outside the grocery talking to himself I thought he was on a cell phone then I realized he was just talking to himself and awnsering himself.

Well, he'll always have someone to talk to!! Ha Ha. Sometimes those conversations are more stimulating that talking to someone else.

For me, my cellphone is my lifeline to the world. Living in a VERY rural area where this little Offbreed Phone Co-op holds captive all of us in 2 counties here in TN & a few in KY. It seems it cannot be broken for some reason...the people in this area have tried. We can call KY...60mi away for free; but the town 10 mi down the road where we do all shopping etc. is $2 a minute. There is NO choice in long distance service & are extremely lucky that they actually deigned that for so much money (& that's their goal...they are the Exxon of these mountains) they would allow cell towers to be put here & allow cable TV & computer service. We were on rabbit ears up until last October. Phone service provided by them would be better using 2 tin cans & a waxed string, & just changed from analog service this past year...oh, another EXTRA charge is for TOUCH TONE phones as the are "new technology".

Therefore, like probably 75% of people in this area, our cell phones are our main lines.

I do take mine with me wherever I go as have some really backwoods roads I have to drive, so use it as a safety device...so, if I breakdown, I can call someone.

Your gripes about rude people & their cellphones echo a great big YES I AGREE with me....I think the absolute rudest call I have ever gotten...& I told them so...was one of my kids calling while pooping...EWWW, do not appreciate hearing them straining...what is SO important that they couldn't wait to call me AFTER THEY WERE DONE?
