Heard two cellphones at a funeral last Friday.In the church.We all heard the ringtone apart from the body.

I think its rude when you're at a function or interacting with other people at a "proper" gathering and on the phone. Unless it's truely that important that it can't wait then OK, but excuse yourself. Otherwise it can wait. But put the thing down and actually bond with the person instead of the technology!!! Arg...cell phone manners are a huge pet peeve of mine! I could rant for hours on it.

I think cellphones to children is too much. There friends have home phones if they need to call home. I think when they reach the time to drive, then phones are okay.

Driving and cell phones are dangerous. But to keep on hand just in case.

worst part about cell phones is you can never find a payphone around anymore and no one wants to let you to use their cell to make an important call, like one to hook up a phone at your house or activate your cell phone :)

I have heard some bad facts about cell phones and brain tumors. I try to use mine as minimal as possible.. it's an el cheapo prepaid anyways.

I almost always have my phone on just in case my Brother calls me...in the rare event he isnt with me. I have my own business and that tends to be around the clock crap...but if I go to church with a friend then I will turn it off for that hour or 2. I dont like to be in the store and talk on it unless it's an emergency. And I usually keep mine on silent. I get soo tired of it though that I've tossed about 5 of them out the window while driving...I sometimes feel married to the cell phone.HA!

My wife and I don't have any cell phones. I love it too. I have a home phone with an answering machine, but no cell.

I like not feeling like I need to be tied down to the house in case something happens with my kids. It does get annoying having just anyone know that they can reach you no matter where you are though.

I hate cell phones but I hate the phone all together. Mine is always on silent.

Free night and weekend minutes are nice.

I now have 4 mobile phones for various reasons, I always switch them to silent in company or off if it's really important.

More of a 'need to have' than a 'essential'.

Been talking recently about the time before mobile phones were mainstream....news/messages still got through just the same.

Pretty soon the mobile phone will be allowed on airplanes........no escape !!!!

I HATE waiting on customers who have a cell phone glued to their ear!
I have to ask certain questians...like how are you going to pay for this?...and it seems rude to disregard a person ,trying to wait on you,by blabbing on and on to someone else

I liked beepers no pun intended!!! Because when you call them you don't feel obligated to return the call right the... Damnit my Irony Continues... Cursed me! lol

I have one for emergencies and the like.I rarely use it as a matter of fact I rarely catch it when it rings b/c I don't recognize it as mine.LOL I go whose phone is ringing or hey they have the same ringtone as me.(not likely....not many Public Enemy fans in my town LOL).
I do hate to be in line with someone who is checking out or ordering food and talking too.If I was waiting on them I would take it and throw it.How rude.
