It is the only time I get relief from PTSD, BPD & Anxiety symptoms. I can think faster, I can think further.. I iknow it sounds wrong but the euphoric feeling I get from the mania is unlike any other substance i've ever tried. I feel amazing and like nothing can overpower me. I'm starting to find it hard to sleep and caring about things less, hopefully its not just depression.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
Stability is the kindest thing you can do for yourself.... If you haven't found the right combo of meds along with other treatment yet try not to give up.... We do have a treatable disorder.... xo
Mania is a Serious drug. I miss it too, but the cost, now that I look back on 50 years of life, was too great.
I would have Loved it if my manias always had an understanding supervisor nearby. Or if I had a spending limit. Or if the manias were ONly in the creative direction.
But they weren't, and no matter how amazing or powerful I felt, I could not truly Control it. No easy "on/off" switch.
And like kisses says, the comedown and depression afterwards just Sucks, and sometimes pushes us too far in the other direction.
