Do you think it could be a 'good thing" (a relatively lose term) IF you have the correct diagnosis? Only asking because I wonder if that means that your meds have been slightly altered so as to avoid / maintain relapses etc.

I'm glad I don't seem psychotic. I've heard voices, though it's not constant....and I had a period of time where I thought I had bugs crawling all over me....actually this happened a few times. I knew that I didn't have bugs b/c I could plainly see there weren't any, but I sure as hell felt them.

That's when I was "upgraded" or "promoted" to BP1.

I honestly don't know. I don't even know if I'm BP I or II, only diagnosed as BP.

My psych does differentiate between the two and tells me not to even bother about looking at what BP2 is.
He even sniggers at it.
All the others that laugh at BP1 cos they are BP2 are just bitter-tasting cunts.That aren't even remotely talented either.

Yeah, these names confuse me, too. I have only been diagnosed as BP, no 1 or 2, but my doc says I have ultra rapid cycling or some damn thing. All I know is that whatever my "diagnosis" is, it sure ain't easy to deal with.

I wouldnt want any kind of mental illness. I just want to be me without all this other stuff attached
