I get paid on the first not the 25th how am I supposed to enjoy a good manic spending spree with no money!!!

All for the best I suppose. We are spending a lot less this year how bout you? Already got the puppy just need a DSI XL for my son, otherwise not doing anything exciting but paying off last years bills :)

Black Friday leaving the house I know I would get shot and/or stabbed while being robbed of my super deal stuff, run over as a pedestrian, have my car hit by someone, have my kid stolen, or just simply get trampled by a herd of self-absorbed shoppers (like that one time at that one Wal-Mart).

Nope. No way.

We were all talking about it at dinner and about how so-and-so was going shopping at 4am. Terrifies me. Not worth it. I'll order things online or go one day in the middle of the day when there are not so many people.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when all of the stores open very early and offer deep discounts to the earliest shoppers which creates panic and chaos. That's how we celebrate the birth of Christ in America,but attacking each other and being as far from Jesus's teachings as humanly possible.

Not like I have a ton of money to spend anyways but I opted out of Black Friday shopping. The crowds make me anxious and cause me to become manicy.

My daughter is 14 and she wants a new cell phone and a IPOD Touch and hair dye. Certainly going to be spending less this year.

STAY HOME WITH A GOOD BOOK. STOP CONSUMING WHEN THE MEDIA TELLS US SO! :) One day out of the year, see if you can avoid buying anything. It's not so easy but feels oh so good on the wallet.

I hate the way people act during these times. Rude with parking and cutting in front of you with their carts. It's not worth it.

Yes cyber monday is the same thing as black friday only over the net.You do have to pay those shipping charges though!

Well I was up at 4am and out the door to meet a couple of friends, it is more of a tradition then anything else. Though I do love the deals, wanted this 42 inch TV for $389 but damn thing wouldn't fit in the car.

I agree it is madness and I do get anxious and the people are rude to boot but we have fun anyway.
