Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

has anyone ever experienced this? My boyfriend had this happen to him in Friday and now he's in the behavioral health part of a hospital under hold. He was hearing and seeing things not there making no sense at all his timeline made no sense he couldn't understand anything and he don't remember most of the crazy talk he was doing before being brought in. The doctors said it was related to stress.. but it was pretty much out of nowhere. I visited him the next day and it was like nothing happened he was fairly normal acting other than being agitated for not understanding why he was there. I want to know if this has happened to anyone else and why he would be fine the next day did you yourself get better the next day? What do you do or have set as a plan for if this happened again? I don't want to have him held over at a hospital if he's okay the next day and then can't come home for 4 more days cause of the ordeal..

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
Take care,
And I did not remember "that time"
Evidently at one time, she didn't know whether to just call the hospital for me or not, because I called her one night singing "itsy bitsy spider" over and over. she doesn't know if I called anyone else that (it freaked me out so I asked). But around that time I was having black outs. I'd THINK i'd go to sleep in the bed and wake up in the front lawn, or I'd be cleaning or doing something and I'd "wake up" in the pool. (I don't have it anymore) with all my clothes on.
I remember that part. Because I got a bit concerned myself about all that. I've got a bum foot, and doing anything without being fully "conscious"...oh man. It would NOT be good if I fell.
But oh my god that freaked me out to hear that. Just yesterday. She said she spent a couple of days contemplating if she should call the hospital or not. She asked me to house-sit for her folks with her after that. They were going out of town for a week, and she said she had me house-sit with her so she could keep an eye on me, get me away from the people and environment I was in, see if that would help.
It did.
In short "I want to know if this has happened to anyone else and why he would be fine the next day did you yourself get better the next day?"
Yes. and kind of. She said I hadn't been myself in months, but the day I got to the house and settled in, She said I was "me" again, and I had no more black-out, time missing stuff. And although this was just a one day fine, then weird the next for months until it got to that point, I evidently DID get better the day I got into a new environment. So yeah. It can happen and has.
I MEANT to say: I replied to this a while back, but was talking to a friend just yesterday and the subject randomly came up and i'd forgotten"
2 thoughts in my head smashing into each other LOL
