I can't be around smoke that much anymore. Causes asthma attacks. So I don't smoke or like being around smoke.

But you gotta do what works for you regardless of what others think.

I have a friend with bp who swears by it, but her state will not license it, and she doesn't think it is worth the effort to do it illegally.

Pot just made me crazy. So I stopped it long, long ago. Is it still around? I thought it was a 60's fad, and something burned out old hippies still did.

You will find mixed reviews here. Some on here have a duel diagnosis and will tell you that you shouldn't. It is also illegal in most states which colors judgment. From what I've read on the subject I've read that it can do anything ranging from helping with agitation and calming emotions to the other extreme of causing anxiety and psychosis. If you have already used it before I would think you already know how you personally respond to it. Have you discussed it with a doctor at all?

Oh, I forgot to mention, dosage matters (sounds funny when talking about pot, lol). Smoking to much has a higher probability of causing an anxiety reaction or inducing psychosis.

Yes, stuck is right...also, the type of pot you smoke. However, you are in a state where you can purchase the pot legally, at a "clinic". All the pot is labeled by strain. I would also inquire about the use of chemicals or organically grown pot.

My suggestion is to go organic and go Indica and opposed to Sativa. Sativa is a cerebral high and energetic, more chance to cause paranoia and anxiety. Indica is more of a body relaxant.

I have a license and Colorado is a state where medicinal marijuana is legal. Now that I know I will stay closer to indica instead of sativa. My doctor "prescribed" 50/50 half and half. I think I going to buy a joint from a clinic for $10 and see how it goes. Usually is is sold in an 1/8th for $45-$50, but now with the clinics you can get top quality marijuana (not like some high school crap) lol, I can't believe that I am talking like this. I am not a pot smoker but I need to get rid of this damn stress. Get rid of my stress and write my two papers.

Though I no longer have the lungs for it, I fully believe in medical marijuana use. Smoke up, Love!

i got into a very heated topic about this the last time it was brought up. i think pot is illegal for a reason and can do more harm than good in the long run. but thats just my view on things. but i do have to admit it is very tempting. all the drugs out there that i have tried have made me worse or havent worked at all. i was at my best before i was diagnoised when i was 19 and smoking pot every weekend. after i stopped and had my son i got really bad and had problems ever since. the part that worries me though is the pot made me worse. but what worries me even more than that is that it did help and i have no hope of ever recovering without it.

I find some pot really calming and helps me to sleep.. I dont smoke it that often but it does relax me.. I definitely believe it should have been legalized a long time ago for medical reasons..it is a great analgesic for many in physical pain as well..x

I too smoke...however, besides the bp, I have chronic pain issues. The drug is not legal here in Fl.
my pain doc told me i have to stop the marijuana in order to get my pain meds....
I DON'T WANT TO STOP...not yet anyway, it helps me in so many ways(i know some will call this a crutch), but i don't care...
life is hard enough with out having to deal with all the bs out there....
so now i have to buy pee, as he takes drug tests every 3 months...i have done that once, and felt very stupid. The other part is obtaining the drug...sometimes you deal with some really messed up people. People that sell other drugs or things you don't know they do...i hate it being illegal...go to pain doc tomorrow, been wondering if it's been 3 months....what a problem to have
