after several days of feeling down in the dumps depressed and suicidal, I watched THE GREATEST SHOWMAN on a recommendation from my therapist. It was so great that I have watched it four times since last night. And I downloaded the soundtrack and have been listening to it all day in between the movie
Anyhow, the movie triggered a good feeling in me and I am having a good day.
What’s a movie that makes you feel good to watch it?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
I am happy to discover that I can watch a movie once more so long as I do so on my laptop with the volume barely above mute and it does not make me nauseous
this is a wonderful development after years of being unable to tolerate the noise without feeling ill.
I have also watched A Beautiful Mind and The Aviator. All very thought provoking with marvellous scripts and remarkable acting.
what a treat!
I love Inception...I can watch that movie over and over and over. I love movies that make my brain work, like A Beautiful Mind and Inception.
My movie to watch this weekend is: The Imitation Game...I love a good Benedict Cumberbatch movie.
I don't care for movies with actors who can't...Act Well...it takes more than just reading a script for me.
I've also got to re-watch Avengers Infinity War so I can remember all the million things I've forgotten, to get ready to see Avengers Endgame...that ones going to be a "sit up, pay attention and try to keep up!"
You should watch the New Zealand movie `Whale Rider' Kisses. I think you would get a lot out of it. I sure have over the years. It's about independence and self-empowerment. In my top 5 movies of all time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtZC5OOxoAQ
I have 7 episodes of Stargate SG1 recorded that I need to watch tonight, I'm way behind! Another one of my Sci-Fi favs!
No spoilers though. It's something to experience.
The film about The Temptations was really great.... Awesome music and a lot of struggles during that time in history that they fought to overcome
I loved Scrooge or A Christmas Carol with Alistar Sim and can watch that any time
A number of my favourites are rather dark so I won't go there
When my mom was unwell and couldn't really follow movies we used to watch Sister Act over and over again.... It was fun.... light of heart and always made her smile thus it made me smile
You know who I love, when I want to laugh...and I swear I laugh so hard I can't breathe and am clamoring for my damn inhaler. He's probably the most "all things" incorrect Comic out right now, but give me Ricky Gervais any day of the week. I've watched his Netflix Special "Humanity" at least 10 times....and its hilarious every single time. If you get easily offended, it's probably not for you...but otherwise, grab a box of tissues and prepare to laugh till you cry.
But I like the "Dark" stuff...I like to think when I watch a movie....TV's more for the lighter side to me. Nicole Kidman did a Film several years back called, "The Others" it was great. Cold Mountain was great... Harrison Ford did "What Lies Beneath" and was the bad guy...he's never the bad guy, it was a great change for him.
I don't care for movies wrapped up in neat little packages where everyone lives happily ever after in a perfect little life....like those stupid Hallmark movies. It's unrealistic and doesn't take you into the story.
I will google Inception. At least the Title intriques!
good to see you.
I think it's Leo DiCaprio's best movie.....
We could skype and watch a movie together...have to work out the time thing.....
You like RomCom's and those kind of movies don't ya?
