"Just because you think you know everything doesn't mean you really know everything."
and
I could explain it to you but I can't understand it for you."
and sometimes I would like to keep it to a simple, "kiss my ass".
On St. Patrick's Day I went up to a guy with a dog and asked the breed. He said, "Excuse me?" And we both repeated ourselves a few times. And then he got really stern and said, "EXCUSE ME, do you just go up to anybody and start asking them questions?" And I was like, "Whoa... sorry..." And walked off... about six steps... and then I turned around and walked back and I said, "I am NOT sorry. YOU were the rude on in this situation so *flipped the bird*" and walked off.
And then last week at the bar I overheard two guys talking about one having a kid and it was eating into his video game time, but oh buddy, his little two year old daughter was learning and by five she'll be a real gamer! So I slammed my book, gave him the dirtiest look I've given anyone since high school, and said a little too loudly, "How bout you get your daughter to read a book before playing your stupid-fuck-ing-video-games?!" And stormed off...
*deep sigh*
But mostly, I just want to tell people, "I know it's not obvious, but I'm seriously, very seriously sick right now and I don't know if I'm going to live for much longer, so if I don't seem to care... it's because I don't. And I'd be sorry but I've no empathy left in this weak bones. So just go away."
Isn't that from some old Tom Cruise movie?
