This an update to my previous post. He had a stroke on 11/18/20. Then MRI done on 11/25/20 showed multiple mini strokes all over his brain. No hope to get better. He was transferred to Hospice 11/28/20. I got to visit him in 11/29/20. He died the next day. I'm glad he held on until I saw him. I still can't believe he is gone. His funeral is Sunday 12/6/20.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Still doesn't make it any easier...EVER. Just like the name of this website, Daily Strength, you will now need to find a new normal and renewed daily strength for each day you face. You brother would want you to move forward, it doesn't mean we love them any less or that their loss isn't still felt daily, it's that we choose to take the next step moving forward knowing that we had their love and life as long as we did and are better because of it. You are not alone, my friend. Loss is tough! My sister just passed after a 7.5 year battle with stage 4 cancer, she was 51. Even knowing she was super sick, it still comes as a shock. I feel your pain!
