Hello, I just lost my wife to colon cancer on Oct. 4th 2017. She was only 49, had been having what the doctors thought was gastro intestinal stomach problems for a few years. Mid September of this year, the stomach aches became really severe. Turned out to be colon cancer and she only lasted 3 weeks after the discovery.
We had been together for 17 years and the honeymoon just never ended.
She was my motorcycle riding buddy (she rode her own '87 FXLR), my best fishing and boating buddy, and I couldn't leave the house going deer hunting without her, nor did I want to. When we first meet in the late 90's, she told me I touched her soul before I touched her body and she did the same for me. So many of our friends were envious of our love and compatability. We truely enjoyed each others companionship and things never grew old.
I have been so lost without her. Things that were of such importance suddenly became insignificant. We were blessed to be able do travel and enjoy life almost at will for weeks at a time. In a few years plans were in place for me to retire and we could ride of into the sunset. God changed it all on Oct. 4th. The things we enjoyed together are the hardest for me to do without her.
Terry had such a spark for life, it shined brightly for all to see. She was a blessing to everyone she meet and strived to help people in anyway she could. She had a special spot in her heart for the less fortunate and supported numerous homeless shelters locally. She also had a very strong desire to see that needy children had things for Christmas. She was truely and Angel on earth.
It will be 9 weeks tomorrow and I still think of her every second of everyday. The upcoming Christmas is really going to be a hard time to get thru. Plans to stay with family are in place for the holidays. I am truely blessed to have an amazing outpouring of love and support from family and a large group of freinds, but the heartache and emptiness of her loss, overwhelms me sometimes.
I miss her so much.
Eddie

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Terry is with you in spirit, look for little 'funny' things that might be happening...opening your eyes, as a man of nature you will see, hear, smell her spirit communication. A friend of mine sent me this poem of loss.
We just lost two dear dear friends, who like Terry were woman who 'changed' who ever came into their contact because of who they were. Special doesn't do justice...Angels do, as you wrote Terry your Angel continues to do by those who knew her and those she cared for and loved....

We do have a very good board on here for people who have lost their partner..... The Widows and Widowers board
People are in different stages on healing on there.... It's very supportive and active
I'm sorry for what's brought you here but I'm glad that you're here
Big hug for you and a blessing......xo

and it feels good to let things out right now.
We had been in an MC for the better part of our time together and we had the ritual
burning of her club colors, she did send a sign that nite. If I could post a picture here
it would freak a lot of people out. At the very top of the flames, and I am not the only one
to see it, is a definite picture of her face looking down at everyone. No one saw it that nite,
but going thru the photos of the celebration of her life the next day, there she was.
Things like that give one chills, but at the same time give so much comfort of her
presence. I would not be who I am today with out her, she didn't change me, she saved me from myself when I was at a crossroads in life.
I know she is still looking over me.
