I'm new. My husband committed suicide almost a year ago. At first I was in so much denial I didn't think I needed counseling. I've been going to grief therapy and tonight I'm going to go to a Grief Share group. Yes, the grief process is unique to each person, although we share many of the same emotions and issues. I have seen a few people who bottled it up, for different reasons, and for all of them (a small sample, but still, ... ) their healing did not really progress until they let things out. It can be anger, it can be rage, it can be self doubt, a gazillion emotions, but let them come out.
I have found this to be a safe place to vent. We all know how hard it can be, and we don't have any of those "self appointed experts who know all about it even though they never experienced it" people hanging around!
