Yes when your a nightly bedwetter there is no way to keep it hidden.

I also went to boarding-school (primary and high school) and the whole school knew. People would come up to me and ask me if it's true that I wet my bed. Day scholars made friends with kids who were in boarding school to come visit them during the weekend all to come see my mattress drying up outside. Kids would walk pass me and sniff me. I was bullied for being a bedwetter both in school and at boarding school by everyone. From teachers to kids to matrons to care takers. Even some of my room mate's parents would bully me and I just couldn't tell anyone because even my own family seemed to agree with them.

Just ride a bike around the neighborhood and see 2 cloth diapers and a larger size pair of plastic pants hanging on a clothesline by themselves, kind of a giveaway.

You are so right momplus. After I was put back in diapers when I was 8 years old for bed wetting, anyone looking into our back yard could see my cloth diapers and plastic pants hanging out on the clothesline. Everyone in the neighborhood knew that I was a bed wetter and wore diapers to bed every night.

I wet the bed until I was six and was changed into terry nappies and plastic pants after bath time by our nanny. I was the eldest and my younger siblings were dry before me so it was embarrassing to be up playing or watching tv before bedtime and be in a nappy. I was then dry for a few years but started to wet the bed again aged 11 when at prep school until I was about 14. At prep school I had to report to the matron each night to change into terry nappy pants and waterproof pants along with the other boys who wet the bed and of course had a waterproof sheet on the bed. At senior school it was just a waterproof sheet and the inevitable wet pyjamas and bed. I was then dry until a spinal injury changed everything and I have had IC issues ever since. I started to wet the bed again and as the spinal issues got worse lost all control so now wear nappies 24/7. That said they enable me to manage my incontinence and lead an active life. So not all had. The only people who know are my wife , my children and a couple of friends who we stay with quite regularly.

Our entire neighbourhood knows about Mika being diapered 24/7 and some know about my diapers too. Sometimes it’s just not possible to hide it be it when drying cloth diapers and plastic pants on the balcony or in the community area where the washing machines are.

Many of my clients grew up with bedwetting and they were treated very differently when it came to their exposure as bedwetter. Some parents were displaying openly the washed bedsheets and diapers of their kids and others were quite discreet about it. I noticed that most of those kids exposed as bedwetter are now seeking kind of a motherly love which includes not judging them because of their need or liking to wear diapers as adults.
