Bedwetting Support Group
Bedwetting (or nocturnal enuresis or sleepwetting) is involuntary urination while asleep. It is the normal state of affairs in infancy, but can be a source of embarrassment when it persists into school age or the teen or adult years. Find others who are coping with a bedwetting problem and share your experiences and questions.

Well I'm a father of 3 children. My older sons suffered from Bed
Wetting several years ago. My wife and I tried several Bed Wetting products for them.
Recently I've got into the Bed Wetting issue again, as been asked for some advice from a friend of mine at work. So I decided to build a website about the issue that will gather all info as well as be updated regularly upon any update...
@Angelina, thank you so much for sharing, and congratulations to your son...
My son had agreed to try overnight protective underwear I found online, but he was dissatisfied with them, for a few reasons which are not important.
I saw your recent post about your son being unsatisfied with the pull-on underwear that your purchased for him. Have you considered other options such as disposable briefs or pin-on cloth diapers covered with plastic pants? These styles are very good for managing heavy forms of incontinence such as bedwetting. Diapers tend to be more effective for managing problems such as bedwetting.I remember you mentioned before that it was a struggle to get him to wear protection to bed but there are a number of different ways to motivate him to wear diapers to bed. One method is to implement a reward system. For instance he can earn a certain number of points or gold stars each night he wears the diapers to bed which he can then cash in to buy a present he really wants such as a video game, a book, a c.d.,or something else. If you want you can send me a message at Daily Strength and I can go into more detail about other ideas I have. I can also provide you with information about different places to purchase pin-on cloth diapers, plastic pants, and disposable briefs.I hope this helps.
Sorry to hear that your son had issue with the pants. I was hoping that they would be a help. Perhaps the method my sil and I used might work depending on the issues he had with the pants.
You can message me through Daily Strength if you'd like.

I don't have anything against anyone who chooses to use diapers (or other protection, I think "diapers" is probably not the best word for most of it honestly) as a tool for managing bedwetting. Like any other tool, it has its advantages and drawbacks. The chief drawback is that, when used over time to the exclusion of any other method of addressing the problem, they can disincentivize a child's body and brain from learning to stay dry at night. This is why many pediatricians recommend against their use. Again, I'm not saying they don't have their place - they do. Just want to encourage those who are interested to know the other side of the story. Those who disagree with me, I hope you can take this information with a grain of salt - I don't wish to have a huge argument about it. Thank you. :)
Hoping for the best!
There are a few brands of diapers that have good reputations for managing bedwetting. Abena X-Plus, Secure Personal Care, Dry247, Wellness Brief, Eurobrief, Molicare, as well as Tena. HDIS(Home Delivery Incontinence Supplies) has a sample pack of disposable briefs which you might want to look into. There are disposable briefs with a plastic outer cover and ones made with a cloth like outer cover. Many people prefer the ones with the plastic like outer cover although some feel that the diapers with the cloth like outer cover make less of a "crinkling" sound therefore making them more discreet, but since your son will be wearing the diapers only at night I wouldn't think that would be an issue. As mentioned the disposable garments with the tape tabs are usually more absorbent than garments such as "Goodnites." I talk about these brands and where you can purchase them on my blog "Tips on Managing Bedwettin. " www.tipsonmanagingbedwetting.blogspot.com. Hope this helps and like I said feel free to email me here at Daily Strength if you need any more advice.
