I've been a little bit hesitant of my lash curler right now, just because I'm afraid of how delicate they are. But yes, I love the look of curled, mascara-coated lashes! :)

I know I'm a couple days late responding, but don't get too discouraged when you slip up! Think about it... People talk about how hard it is to quit smoking, for example. But with us, to quit pulling- the hair always grows back in! And it's right there, we don't have to go somewhere to buy it. What you're doing is HARD! And other people will never understand it. But you can do this! Having a support system, even just online, is a great step to take.

What do you have, like a month before school starts? I bet you will have a gorgeous set of lashes by then! You can see major regrowth up there in a month. :-)

I've heard it called Tar-Ghetto too, but I like that store! Heehee. :) Yesterday I bought a lash/brow comb because the hairs are starting to go every which way. I'm just glad to have hairs to use it with! I think today is my 5th week pf, so more good news.My parents even agreed that if I have grown back my hair, lashes, and brows and keep them there by next March (Around my birthday) I can get a puppy!!!!!!!! I am so stoked! I just went to the library and checked out like 9 books on different dog breeds. I KNOW I can make it; I want this dog so badly!

Clear mascara on your eyebrows helps too.

That's a really long goal. Tell your parents that by the end of the year would be more appropriate, hehehe! Keep trying to focus on day by day, you're doing so great!!

I am very excited, and I think that my willpower grows each day that I am pull free. I simply cannot believe I am doing this now, after years of ridicule and being an outcast. Have any of you heard of Biotine or have experience with it? It is a supplement that supposedly increases hair, nail, and skin health and makes hair grow faster. Does it work? It's pretty cheap and is sold at most pharmacy's.

nooo i havent used biotine, but i tried the walgreens version of rogaine for women hahaha and it may have helped? im not really sure, but it definitely made me feel like i was actually doing something about my hair instead of just sitting back and waiting

Oh my goodness! I swear I am on top of the world, and there is nothing that can bring me down today! This morning I had school orientation/registration because school starts in less than two weeks. Many of the people there had not seen me with eyebrows, and it felt so good to be able to strut down the hallways. :) I moved to Idaho a couple years ago, after I had pulled all of my eyelashes and brows, so I realized that thyis is the first time any of my friends or anyone else I know here has seen me with eyebrows!!! A couple of my friends from elementary school (that I haven't been super close too) ran up to me, gave me a huge hug, and told me how proud they were. I would have cried, but then my mascara would have ran. That whole morning, people I hadn't seen since the end of school were telling me how great I looked, and it just made me so proud of myself for accomplishing this goal I have been putting off each year. I'm feeling good. :)

That is the BEST!! Keep this feeling tucked into your heart so when you start to doubt yourself you will remember how strong you are!! You DID it and deserve to celebrate!

Oh, and as for Biotin, I've been taking it for a few months now. I think it does help hair grow back faster, although I've never measured my hair or anything, so I can't say for sure.
