Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Oh, and in two days, it will be a month completely pull free!!! I have never been so motivated to stop pulling. Seeing all of your success stories gives me strength to do it myself. Cheers!
And congratulations on your almost month! What a great milestone. You should celebrate with something nice.
Thank you all for your continuing support- without you, I probably would have just continued to pull out all of my hair.
Think of it this way: You pulled one day out of the past 30. That's 29 out of 30 days, or 97% pull-free this past month. Even though that's not 100%, it's still a high A in pull-free, and it's still excellent! If you divide the days up into hours, it's 719 out of 720 hours, which is 99.9%, and 99.9% is NOT failing. It's absolutely fantastic. You're truly doing a great job-- keep up the good work! :)
From my experience - hair DOES grow back. Sometimes I notice it takes longer in certain areas, but I have gained (almost) full regrowth on my entire head and I've been pulling for at least 28 years. One side of my head is still a little thin, but with time, I'm confident it will fill completely in because it has in the past. Just give it time. There are also a number of things you can do to help with regrowth. I'm actually thinking of posting a thread of all the things I've tried (and I've tried A LOT) that has worked. Just a few are scalp massages and scalp brushing.
Keep going! It will grow back!
About your hair, give it a bit more time. A month isn't very long for hair to grow back. Everyone is different, but (and I don't mean to scare you) it could take a few months.
:) Keep it up! And keep posting, and I can't tell you how much posting regularly here helps me stay pull free.
I LOVE buying new makeup. Have you tried curling your lashes? It makes your eyes look really nice and open, and it has the added benefit of keeping the hairs from touching your face and driving you crazy.
