Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone else is doing well. I for one have been okay, but not okay. I feel so overwhelmed with school work and just feel like so many of my professors all collectively thought "Well not having in-class sessions means that the students have more time to do school work" while also stating "we are all in this together" (A damnable lie). This has been adding to my anxiety already because I feel as though the assignments that I finish are just like a scratch of all the work that I still have to do for the rest of the semester.
I've also just had times where like I feel okay, or I feel happy or whatever at one point, but like in the split of a second my mood changes to sad and gloomy. I'm not sure where this is coming from? Possibly stress? I know I'm supposed to practice some self-care sometimes but right now I feel as though I can't afford to practice self-care because I have so much to do.. I don't know guys, like I'm just like in a place where like my own emotions don't make sense to me. Like I care, but I also don't care?

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
You can't afford to neglect your self-care, Blue. The busier you are and the crazier the world is, the more important that self-care is. TAKE the time.
I can relate to the notion of being okay but not okay. That would be the story of my life. I work to balance the not okay parts by nurturing the okay parts.
Reset your balance.
You got this, and you're stronger than you realize.
Try not to forget yourself. Practice self-care. It’s very important especially at this time with the new normal. In my experience, I am more productive if I take care of myself first. Do things that you enjoy, it can help you to release stress.
Please keep us posted and let us know how you are doing now. God bless.
