Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Just a bit of an update even though it hasn't been long since the last one. Anxiety hasn't been too horribly high. I baked and decorated my first ever layered cake and it actually came out pretty cute. Seeing as how I have very little experience I think I did okay. I wish I could show pics here but every time i try it doesnt work :( but my mom bought more cake mixes and supplies for me to try some new recipes from scratch. So I am pretty excited to do that.
Today she told me her bf is not coming back and the last time when she said he was, she was feeling very intimidated by him from the call they had the night before. Which I could tell because when she said he was coming back, she seemed very scared and sad. He still 100% believes that my sister and I hacked into his electronics and did weird coding stuff to it. He told her that if she doesn't change things around here (no idea what she is supposed to change) that bad things will happen when he gets back. We now don't know when he is getting out but she said next time she talks to him she's telling him he can't come back. No idea how that will go but today she talked to a very old friend and I think he hleped her realize again that this guy us not safe and can't be here anymore.
But he really has a good grip on her like I can very obviously tell he's manipulative and knows how to scare her into doing what he wants so I hope she's able to be strong and keep her word on this because i really am not comfortable having him here. I domt know how many more posts I'll make saying "he's coming back" or "she changed her mind" because he keeps talking her out of her beliefs against him and I wish she'd just tell him no and never answer his calls again. I feel like that's the best thing to do but I doubt she'll do it. She's going to talk to his friend and figure out what to do with his stuff so he doesn't have to come back here when he gets out. So yeah that's what's going on with that situation.
My mom got us McDonalds today after she went to the grocery store so that made me very happy. I really love fast food honestly it just makes my day every time. Hurts my stomach like heck but good food, while being shared with others (this time my sister) is just really nice.

In my strictly personal senses, the hardest part of living with other people is leaving them room to sort their own issues. Their strictly personal decisions impact my living environment and staying objective is somewhere between difficult and impossible. Sigh. . . Why can't life stay simple?
Your mother's co-dependency issues are not yours to sort, despite the tragic fact that you have to live with her next ex as much as she does. And again I ask, Why can't life stay simple?
I'm on my second generation of brand loyalty to Mickey D's. My 3 foster children are as loyal to ol' Ronald and his playscapes as my now-grown sons were growing up in the 80's and 90's. These days I get belly aches just seeing those golden arches. Dare I hope that the months of playscape closure will help break the family cycle?
Still. . . The sharing is great enough to be worth a bit of digestive distress. The fillet of fish hurts me a bit less than the rest of the menu. Maybe.
And yeah it is hard to live with other people sometimes because they're problems tend to affect you too. And when my safety is involved it's hard to stay out of it. I wish I could easily live alone but I think I might lose it if I did that. I need people around to keep me sane.
We don't get McDonalds much but it's always a treat when we do. Definitely not healthy at all but it seems like all the good stuff isn't very good for you. I am not much a fan of fish but I do love their chicken nuggets, I'm pretty picky.
And I am really hoping she sticks to her word this time too. I am trying to take in and enjoy every day that's stress free/low stress because idk when it's going to change. For now she seems to be strong after her visit with her friend so I'm just trying to be thankful for that.
And I hope you get to have some McDonald's soon! Apparently there had some pretty huge lines at the ones around where i live. Actually at every fast food place the other day my grandma went to two different places and they were full too.
I hope she is strong enough to get his stuff moved to his friend's place so he has absolutely no reason to come back. He's used to manipulating her.
Hurrah on the cake making!
