Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

I have wondered if some of it came from the medication I was on - well in fact I know it was because it's gone now. I think if you start getting symptoms around the time you take some medication, it's pretty rational to wonder about causal links. the depo provera shot however lasts 3 months. I guess it could be worse. I know of people who've had morning sickness on depo provera. 3 months of palpitations and anxiety attacks is probably less awful than 3 months throwing up!
So anyway what the doctor told me last time I went into A&E (what americans call ER) was that I hadn't died, therefore what had happened hadn't killed me. Brilliant deduction: spot on! And soothing. He said the tachycardia I had wasn't the one that means you need a defibrillator, it was just the one where you skip beats, or think you do and that huge numbers of people get this and it does them no harm. He said palpitations is just a word for NOTICING what the heart is already doing - not that the heart is beating harder but that you suddenly become aware of what your heart was already doing at the time. So basically, your heart is doing all this stuff anyway and it hasn't killed you yet.
So what did they tell you? I take it they monitored your heart rate for an hour, what was the upshot? I take it they did the bloods when you went to hospital? that's to check for proteins created when you have a heart attack. I have had a number of these before I was confident that the checks had all been done at the right time, and that the results must be true. :D
Eye pain: when's the last time you got your eyes checked? If you're over 40 they suddenly start changing quickly.
This all could be clusters of diff things or it could all be related, but treat them all as separate till proven wrong. Go to bed early, and no tv or computer in bed (only books.) The blue light screens emit burns the eyes and also stimulates wakefulness. Take a good multivitamin, drink lots of water. All the best with this!
Breathe, stay hydrated, move around, and know you are taking care of yourself.
It's hard to know what all is happening, however, anxiety is natural, and it works for you. So, anxiety's part in all of this is a clue to help you figure out what's going in that is affecting your thought process.
You're a strong person, and you can manage this. Work through your feelings and practice relaxing as you "wonder".
Hope this helps.
