I want to see my family and hug my mom. Her 82 birthday is Monday and we are celebrating her in Saturday. I am thrilled to be able yo be with her this year for her bday. We spent all holidays together until my husband and I moved about 5 years ago to help his elderly parents.
I also cannot wait to hug my sister, my oldest daughter, my SIL, and my three grandsons.
I really appreciate your support!
You got this. Wishing you all kinds of luck
So far I am just taking it a day at a time. It is rainy and cold today so we went to the library to borrow several DVDs. I took a nice afternoon nap. I am pushing through my anxiety, trying to make some nice memories with my mom and sister. Tomorrow I will see my brother-in-law for a short visit and in the late afternoon my son-in-law will pick me up to take me to his and my daughter’s house for the weekend. I cannot wait to see my three grandsons.
My only worry is that early mornings are really hard for me and I know the boys get up EARLY! Any suggestions on getting past that nauseous tired morning feeling?
Thanks!
my own gk's love it when i go drama queen over the rough spots. deliberately allowing myself to exaggerate my symptoms allows me to validate and vent the emotions attached while keeping a sense of humor about the harsh realities.
