Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
On Tuesday, I got an email from my car insurance company, stating that my payment on October 1, 2024 will be $938. That was almost $150 more than I paid in April. I mentioned it to my best friend in a text yesterday and she said now that I work for the school, I could get Teacher's Insurance. She sent me the link. I filled everything out but didn't go forward with payment because I was afraid that I wouldn't be eligible as a hall monitor. Then when I was on my way to the gym, I got a call from Plymouth Rock about Teacher's Insurance. He said I was elligible and he hooked me up, plus my homeowners is through them. I couldn't workout as I had to come home to email my last check stub. So I paid for the year saving another $60 or so. Next year, I will be eligible for even more of a discount. So altogether I am saving at least $600 a year. Wow! And this morning I opened my gas bill, which used to be on budget for $225 per month. Every since I applied for assistance on February 28th, I have only paid $26 and change for gas and today's bill was only $69.25. I called and canceled my old insurance as of September 6th and I am getting $108 back. Also, two days ago, I got a letter from my insurance company that I had before I went on Medicare in 2021 and they said I didn't cash a check for $98.32. I filled ouut the form and got that off. God is definitely looking out for me! I just called the state about my online submission for unclaimed property, since I didn't get any type of email response. I did it wrong. I must learn to pay better attention. Anyway, I just put it in my mailbox as I wasn't taking any chances on the scanned files being too big. So I should get a check for $718.21. I just got a new roof, which couldn't be helped as my pink room ceiling had cracks and was leaking. A friend of mine had said to turn it in to my homeowner's and I did and they paid for it. The roofer said I didn't owe him the $1,000 deductible as he made his bid high. This morning, I woke up thinking I needed to get a plumber here. I just couldn't get my toilet to flush. Plus I thought my septic tank was about to overflow so I thought I needed the septic guys to come out again. I spent almost $750 getting my septic tank fixed in March. I had some old Mister Plumber under my kitchen sink and so I poured it in my toilet and it totally did the trick! I also went out to my septic tank and couldn't see the water through the crack. So my day is going really well now! In other good news, my flea problem went away on its own. I spent a ton of money on flea meds and the vet. The vet bill was $269. Ugh! But I'm happy that I took him because the vet put him on Prednisone and that helped him so much. He had licked all of the hair off of his belly and his nipples were irritated. So, my advice to you today, is to be resourceful and check to see if your state has any kind of assistance and also, check around for insurance if you are paying too much, and have a great day!
