Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I will try to keep this short for today. A few people have been asking about how the search for therapy is going and I have some news about that.
The other day my mom went to a party one of her friends daughter hosted it. It turns out the girl hosting the party works for the place i used to go for counseling and she is supposed to call my mom sometimes soon to talk about options for me.
So that's that. In other news, my anxiety is still going strong. Health anxiety especially. Been having some chest pains that I believe is from stress/stomach problems. But the thing is my arm is also hurting every now and then too which I'm assuming is from how I sleep but that doesn't stop the anxiety from telling me I am having a heart attack.
Now I am also scared that I'm having a stroke like 24/7 constantly checking myself for signs of it. Also scared i am going to have an anyoursim even though I have no idea what that even is. Been having some weird headache which could also be stress. Basically my whole body feels bad and I have been overwhelmed with anxiety.
Also last night I had a scary dream where something that has happened in my past occurred. It wasn't to me but it was to a little kid and I was standing there and saw it. In the dream I remember just closing my eyes really tight and turning around I didn't want to see it or hear it. So that's not been sitting well with me today. Just feel like crap and I'm tired of being scared for my life. I just want to be perfectly healthy.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Are you journaling? Writing down all of your symptoms, how you feel, when it happened, what were you doing, etc.
I know it's hard to put out of your mind, but I can pretty much guarantee you are not having a heart attack, stroke, or aneurysms.
With your arm hurting, try sleeping in a different position (how is the mattress topper working out? Do you love it?? I love having one)
Thank you richierich for the nice comment. And to girlincalif, I did not journal that stuff. I some times do that but lately ive been so scatterbrained it's hard to put words to what I am feeling.
I was having the feeling of my heartbeat in my stomach and like 2 days ago I read that means you could be having an aneurysm.
To put logic behind this I am quite skinny (around 112 lbs) and I read that it is somewhat normal if you're skinny.
I can remember feeling it many times before but I never knew it was bad til recently so the past few days I've been very fixated on the feeling. So that's why I thought that was happening.
Also the topper is good it's lost the bad smell it had (it was sitting in a old futon cover in the garage so it didn't have the best smell) and it's just really comfy. My back still is hurting though.
My sleep positions honestly are not the best but no matter how I sleep my back always ends up hurting. I have no idea why but trying to sleep at night is hard because of it.
Best wishes to feeling better.
