My diagnosis is gen.anx.disordr. Several times in life I was getting anxiety attacks.
In 2 cases -- 2 different times -- connected up with a doctor who immediately gave me a feeling he *underdtood.* That he could see what I was going through.
The Rx I was then given .. in combination w someone to talk to
: started making me feel better.
And to feel more in control of things. . . So finding the right doctor, or in some cases psychologist -- I'very always felt to be the key. In both cases it was a man; if U r female I might guess a female head-specialist as the key.
Each of those two times for me
it was someone I felt trust in instantly. He was letting me know,, "I'm here to take care of you," and it was trust at first sight.
good luck my friend,
you have suffered enough
I hope where you will be looking is gonna' be the right place
Just FYI, I am on klonopin and Remeron. I have noticed that the longer I have been on Remeron the worse things get. I'm no longer going to see the psychiatrist that I was seeing. I now have an appointment with a new psychiatrist. And yes I am a woman and yes she is a woman. I've seen men that last few times. After doing much research on the internet and thinking about my physical and emotional changes I feel that the Remeron is the culprit to me just getting worse. Ive been taking it now since the last week of February this year. Started on 7.5mgs then was bumped up to 15mg which I've been on now for about 3 weeks. When I bumped it up it was great for 1 week then all hell broke loose and I'm where I'm at right now. Going to discuss all this with the psychiatrist. I still have an appointment with my doctor for hormonal testing. I'm almost 37 years and my hormones could very well be out of wack causing all this. I'm also going to demand a screening for hyperthyroidism. I feel like I've been having those symptoms as well. I'm bound and determined to figure out what is wrong with me. And I am going to get my life back. Enough is enough and I've reached my breaking point to where I'm not going to take living like this anymore.
